Ladies Please help! Does Natural Plain yogurt treat YEAST INFECTIONS permanently?

I am treating my yeast infection with Danon all natural plain yogurt. I had it 3days and i started to treat it today. Although, never had one before so is this the best method? I wanted to buy the monistat but that prices were ridiculous. By using the yogurt already I feel so much better.
When I re-apply it do I have to shower again or just clean out my vagina? or is it okay to just put it ontop with another tampon?
Does this cure the yeast infection for good? How long would it naturally take?

yogurt helps but i dont think it gets rid of it, ive heard of medication and yogurt but never ONLY yogurt, and you shouldn’t use tampons when you have a yeast infection

Yogurt does not cure a yeast infection. It may alleviate some of the discomfort you are feeling, but the infection will not be cured. You should make sure it is a yeast infection. Go to your physician. It may not be yeast, it might be something else.

Have you heard of a yeast free diet? If you are certain that it is a yeast infection you may want to consider this diet. I know that people eat yogurt when experiencing yeast infections, but I’ve never heard of topically applying it.

Yeast infections are the result of the imbalance of bacteria in our bodies, in our gut. When we eat the wrong way, the "bad" bacteria overwhelms the "good" bacteria causing the imbalance. Probiotics are good bacteria and yogurt is a food that has it. But, you also should know that eating yogurt alone is not a very effective treatment plan. A good diet plan will include many helpful tips and recipes that will help balance the bacteria and cure your issue
