HAVE CURING A YEAST INFECTION HOW SOON CAN ONE HAVE SEX?
On Friday, October 24, 2008 i went to my doctor and was diagnose with having a vaginal yeast infection. She give me two different types of medication to take. However the day after on Saturday, October 25,2008 the day after my appointment i got my period. Therefore i was only available to take the oral medicine(Flunconazole) and not the vaginal medicine (Metronidazole Vaginal Gel 0.75%). Today, Saturday, November 1, 2008 my period finish and tonight was my first time taking the vaginal medicine. Today was six time taking the vaginal medication. I am WONDER IS IT OK TO SEX? OR WHEN IS IT OK? When i finish the taking the medicine? I think my period flush the yeast out of my system because i don’t see the discharge any more. IS IT OK FOR ME TO HAVE SEX? Or should finish the last dose then go back to the doctor for a check before have sex again?

you should always let the medicine finish it’s course with any infection. in this case, finish the course as directed by the doctor, schedule a visit and see him and if he agrees that it has cleared up, then it is safe to have sex again.
