Reocurring yeast infection, HELP!!!?
Ok, so for 1 year and 3 months now, I have had a reocurring yeast infection once a month. It is very painfull and aggravating to the point where I feel I am a lost case. Ive been to the gynecologist and he has given me diflucan and terconazole, whick is all precribed medication. It works for about 3 to 4 weeks and then It comes back again. Hes done a pap smear and it says that it IS a yeast infection. I am also a type 1 diabetic and i know it has a lot to do with it, but i cant tolerate having this every month. Ive even tried 3 different types of herbal pills names candistroy, candida detox, and i cant remember the name of the last one but they dont work. Is there anyone out there who has gone trhough this and if they have, do they know of any cure or pill that can get rid of this?? Please someone out there who can relate, I need some words of wisdom. My grandfather passed away 4 days ago and now i got this stupid yeast again. I CANT TAKE IT. thanks for reading this and god bless.

This Sounds something like I went through many years ago. I had a yeast infection every month for about as long as you. I began to see a pattern. It turned out to be the tampons I was using (Tampax). I changed to Kotex and have never had a yeast infection again from tampons. Of course the antibiotics are another story
Try looking for some sort of patters to find the root cause of why it keeps coming back.. Good luck
