Can a vaginal yeast infection cause vomiting?
I realized a couple days ago that i have a yeast infection. Ever since then iv been feeling nauseous on and off but today iv thrown up everything iv eaten. I havent eaten anything out of the norm. Everything iv eatin today my boyfriend has too and he is fine. Im also getting REALLY bad headaches. Could this yeast infection be causing all of this or something else? ..
And yes i am pregnant, im 7 months. I have not had morning sickness since the end of the 4th month.

Hey "the guy" i asked this question for a reason..if it grosses you out you should have ignored it. 3 out of 4 women get a yeast infectiom sometime throughout their life…its part of life so grow up. Id like to see you go what im going through and still be a d*ck about it….

anyway – if you have yeast infection – you must get rid of it as soon as it is possible!!!
and if you really want to get rid of yeast infection then you must follow these tips:
1) Eat yogurt. It contains helpful bacteria (live cultures, including acidophilus and bifidus) that destroy yeast. It also works when applied topically. Insert some into the vagina using a finger or plastic tampon applicator. Use only plain yogurt with active cultures.
2) Douche with a solution of 1 to 3 tbsp. vinegar in a quart of water. Repeat once a day while having symptoms, but no longer than a week.
3) Decrease or eliminate sugar and sugary foods. Sugar promotes yeast growth.
4) Use a garlic clove as a suppository. Garlic contains a natural anti-fungal agent. Peel a fresh clove, wrap it in gauze and insert it into the vagina.
5) Try gentian violet. It’s a traditional remedy for yeast and other infections, and can be found in pharmacies. Swab the area with it once or twice a day. Make sure to use a thick pad – it stains everything.
6) Use an herbal douche. Combine equal amounts of sage, raspberry and comfrey with 1/4 part goldenseal. This can be combined with cider vinegar.
7) You must use herbal treatment. In that case Yeastrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of yeast infection comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that it wont reappear again!
And of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly). For me it worked very fast + I dont get yeast infections anymore…

Yeast infections just itch, burn, whatever – down in your vagina. Nothing to do with headaches or throwing up.
I think it’s because of pregnancy, because a yeast infection does not cause vomiting. I would advice you to talk to you doctor about it. Maybe it’s food you eat. Good luck!
February 2nd, 2010 at 11:48 amYes it can cause vomiting but that’s generally with those who have weakened immune systems. If that’s the case you want to treat this as an urgency, there’s usually an underlying serious health condition. I would recommend you trying Canesten, it’s safe for mother’s to be. If you are in a lot of pain though you should definitely see your OB right away.
