Can a vaginal yeast infection be diagnosed through urine sample?
i would much rather give a urine sample than someone looking at me down there.

If they can determine pregnancy from urine, why not yeast infection? Although, it would be a lot easier if they could check down there. You don’t have anything to worry about, it’s a lady doctor who’s seen hundreds. It’s not like she’ll remember yours. But if you’re more comfortable with a urine test than go ahead, they’ll understand.

if you have recurring yeast infection, then u just tell the doctor what ur symptoms are and they will give you the pill
i usually call my doctor and ask for the pill, and they call it in, nobody wants to be in that chair…lol
PS they usually diagnose UTI with a urine sample, not yeast!!!
January 12th, 2010 at 4:36 amwhen you give a urine sample, they can tell if there is bacteria in the urine which typically means infection. usually when they find bacteria in your urine they are going to want to check you out to be on the safe side. it is uncomfortable and embarrassing but its things we have to deal with. all you need to do is relax and take a deep breath during the examination and trust me, it will fly by. it doesnt take longer then 5 minutes.

Monistat didn’t work for me.. my doctor prescribed me meds and it made even worst!
Despite when it manage to heal, the yeast infection will come back again (means it’s not fully cured).
I realized the only real cure for Yeast infection is doing the natural way so it won’t come back again!
