Guy with a yeast infection, how can I cure it?

So I’m a 17 year old guy and I’m about 95% sure I’ve got a yeast infection. Obviously I dont want to tell my parents or go to a doctor so is there any way I can solve this problem at home?

Also if I have sex will my partner get it?

Yeast infections aren’t that easy to permanently get rid of. Many products can temporarily relieve the symptoms, but a long term treatment approach will be your best bet to completely elliminate it.

One of the more popular and effective homeopathic solutions is yeastrol. It’s very effective at treating vaginal, penile and oral yeast infections.

What you can also do to speed your recovery is to change you diet in a way that will starve the yeast organisms (Candida).

Things that you should remove from your diet are all sodas, sugars, fruit, fermented foods, foods containing white flour,
alcohol (especially beer), antacids and any product that has yeast or mold.

Things to add to your diet are live yogurt cultures (or take Acidophilus), plenty of water, fresh vegetables, lots of protein rich foods, whey protein, raw garlic, nuts, seeds, oils, millet, rice and oat brans

Another thing to keep in mind is that both you and your partner should consider the diet change/yeastrol treatment as you can be passing the infection back and forth between you.

Hope this helps and best of luck! :)

    Chances are you don’t.
You aren’t doing yourself a service by keeping yourself away from a doctor.

You should go get yourself checked out. There are free clinics where you can go. No one will ever know.

If I had to guess you have another STD but it is all speculation.

There are some easy tips are mentioned to overcome the problems related to yeast infection.
    These include;
    1. Take Warm sitz baths, using herbs and teas can help relieve the itching and burning.
2.Over the counter drugs can be used at times.
3.Proper hygiene is a must and should be implemented.
4.Cutting the conditions for the growth of yeasts by the elimination of immunosuppressive drugs and antibiotics (if you are taken), and dietary deprivation of the candida of those foods on which it is nourished and flourishes.
5.Destruction of yeast proliferation in the body.
6.Rebalancing and strengthening of the body’s immune system for the restoration of proper function.
7.Reduce stress, too much stress triggers yeast infections. Again, the immune system comes into play here. Since women do too much for their family and others, they need to address the issues of stress and relaxation.
    8. Avoid eating sugary foods that triggers these infections as well.

There is no safer and better way to solve this unless you go to the doctor. For all you know, this may not even be yeast infectction. Don’t worry if your embarassed to tell the doctor, trust me, he/she’s probably seen more things than this. So be open, tell your dad, afterall he is a male with the same characteristics as you, and go visit the doctor

The chances of a man having a yeast infection without contracting it from his partner is extremely unlikely. You simply don’t have the environment for the yeast to flourish (unless its an oral yeast infection). Whatever it is you have, you can definitely and most likely will transmit it to your partner. Call a doctor, and in the mean time try the symptom checker on WebMD.com But to be honest, my bets are on an STD

Now don’t go all ‘judgy’ while you start reading the next part. But, I am 99% sure that’s not yeast infection. Because teenagers usually do not take much care about their penises.
Do you see white or grey (sometimes green), deposit under skin of your penis? Stink problem?
If so, do you pull back the skin while taking shower? Just wait for 2 more weeks and practice pulling back the skin of your penis while taking shower and clean it dry with you towel. Most teenagers mistake this common cleanliness problem with Herpes or yeast infection and all sorts of diseases.

Go to a doctor & have it diagnosed, especially if this is your first yeast infections. Yogurt will not cure it. Over the counter medications may help, if it is a yeast infection. But honestly, you should go to a clinic and have it evaluated by a professional, not people on the internet.
