Eating yogurt and douching with plain natural yogurt. I used to do this decades ago when I took birth control pills as the Pill threw off my system’s pH and I got lots of yeast infections. I got sick of going to the doctor so often because back then, they didn’t have OTC yeast infection medicines. You had to get them with a prescription. The yogurt always did the trick for me.

Yeast thrives in a warm, damp atmosphere, so one of the best preventive measures you can take against this fungus is to keep your vaginal area ventilated–that is, cool and dry. Sleep naked or take your panties off underneath your nightgown. Avoid wearing lots of tight clothing such as panties and tight jeans. Wear more skirts. To avoid reinfection from your panties, boil or microwave them. It’s been proven that merely washing your panties in the normal wash cycle is not hot enough to kill the bacteria (Candida albicans).
P.S. — According to the websites below, cranberry extract and drinking lots of cranberry juice is, indeed, beneficial.
Instructions: Take either Cranberry Extract or Cranberry Blueberry Extract pills as instructed. These pills plus the cranberry juice apparently establish the perfect pH for the vagina and intestines so they help speed up recovery, and they are great antioxidants that work as a preventative for yeast infections as well as urinary tract infections. "The high level of ascorbic acid in cranberries acts as a natural disinfectant in your body and helps restore the naturally acidic state of the vagina vital to its health."

natural yogurt, rubbed inside and out..
yeast NEEDS simple sugars – cut out sugar, white flour – pasta, bread… this is a long term solution
btw – cranberry juice is for bladder infections.. not yeast infections..

Go buy some plain yogurt and put it up right up in there where you have the infection. You may want to buy some old-fashioned sanitary pads as this can be messy…but it works. do it at night before you go to bed. Also, add some kind of acidophilus to your diet…either in the form of suppliments or some kind of boosted yogurt (like Activa) or kefir. The good bacteria in the yogurt gobbles-up the bad bacteria in the yeast infection.

And…if you got this from somebody…don’t have sex with them again! They will give it right back to you. If you got it from taking antibiotics, you have an allergy to that particular Rx.

Go to Wal mart and get some Monistat 7. You can buy it OTC now-days. If your partner has had intercourse with you he will need to put Monistat 7 on himself also or you will pass it back and forth !!! Don’t mess around with home remedies hon !!! Get rid of it the right way !!!! Good luck !!!!!
