No, I had a serious bacterial infection and it came from vagsil creams..
The cream spreads and ‘locks’ in the infection my gynecologist told me.
You should go to your gyno. and request "Flagyl’ it’s probably the best antibiotic for femal problems.
    Promise.

Yes it should work. But there’s usually a cause that you need to figure out. Perhaps you are wearing underwear that can’t breathe? Pants too tight (not kidding though it may sound ridiculous). Has your diet changed or have you changed your hygiene (overwashing?). These are all things to consider so that there won’t be a re-infection.

Below is some info on the treatments:

In clinical settings, candidiasis is commonly treated with antimycotics—the antifungal drugs commonly used to treat candidiasis are topical clotrimazole, topical nystatin, fluconazole, and topical ketoconazole. For example, a one-time dose of fluconazole (as Diflucan 150-mg tablet taken orally) has been reported as being 90% effective in treating a vaginal yeast infection.[13] This dose is only effective for vaginal yeast infections, and other types of yeast infections may require different treatments. In severe infections (generally in hospitalized patients), amphotericin B, caspofungin, or voriconazole may be used. Local treatment may include vaginal suppositories or medicated douches.

I don’t know why Pat wants to go into all the clinical stuff, but I can tell you if you have vaginal yeast all you need is Monostat. Available everywhere. Try Walmart. It’s perfectly safe.
Oh, and if this is unusual for you to get this, have your blood sugar checked.
