Have you used an OTC product to cure diaper rash caused by a yeast infection?
I was wondering if anyone has used an OTC product to cure diaper rash caused by a yeast infection? I’ve been reading up on otc fungal treatments, and found them to be quite interesting. Has anyone had good results? Please no rude answers, thank you.

I used a prescription cream, but it was basically Canesten with a small amount of hydrocordisone powder mixed in (the pharmacist actually misread the prescription and showed me the canesten on the shelf, before I pointed out the HC powder part of the RX). It worked pretty well, took a few days to fully clear up, but started improving right after the first application.
November 25th, 2009 at 3:01 pmI know on the cloth diapering group, women had a lot of success with a combination of Desitin, corn starch baby powder and Lamisil. If you were using just Lamisil, use it every other diaper change. This was 5 years ago. I would check with your doctor’s office before using the Lamisil just to be sure that it is still considered safe.

Monistat didn’t work for me.. my doctor prescribed me meds and it made even worst!
Despite when it manage to heal, the yeast infection will come back again (means it’s not fully cured).
I realized the only real cure for Yeast infection is doing the natural way so it won’t come back again!
